How to Reduce Tension and Improve Posture?
The knee-to-chest exercise can help lengthen your lower back, releasing tension and pain. To perform this stretch: Lie on your back with your knees bent and both feet flat on the floor. Using both hands grab your lower right knee and interlock your fingers. While keeping your left foot flat on the ground, carefully pull your right knee up to your chest until you feel a stretch. Hold your right knee to your chest for about 30-60 seconds, make sure to relax legs, hips and lower back.
Then release your right knee and return to the starting position. Repeat these steps with the left leg. Repeat three times for each leg.
